Finally moved in

So we are finally in the house. We have been here for almost 3 weeks now. It was very stressful for almost 6 weeks but well worth it. Living back and forth out of a suit case with my parents and Jasons parents was hard on everyone. It ended up working out but the kids were really confused and at times acted out a little. Jason and I were seperated off and on and that was hard on us. I was up in Brigham City while almost all of the inside was being put in and it stressed me out to not be here. Jason would go over and take pictures and then email them to me so I could see the progress. It was crazy moving in and we still have boxes all over but we are so excited to be here. I love it.

This is the first night at the new house. The kids were pretty excited except for Brinley kept saying she wanted to go home and continued to ask that for about a week. She didnt quite get that this was our home now.

New House Construction

So we have started to build our house in American Fork. It all happend so fast. They dug the hole on the 7th of April and the last picture on here was about 2 weeks ago. They are moving right along. They originally told us they would probably be done around the end of July and now they are saying they are pushing for the end of June. It has been very exciting and very stressful. We were told we could stay at our current house that we are renting until the end of July and then we found out that we had to be out the end of May so we are moving into my parents house the end of this week. That should be interesting. Hopefully the house is done the end of June for our sake and for my poor parents sake.

I am hoping they will do the stucco this week so I will have another picture when that is done. Me and the kids drive by the house usually 2 times a day. It has been just so fun to see all of the progress. The last 2 weeks it has just been stuff inside the house so we cant see the progress as visable as we were but the next few weeks we should really see big things being done.

Santa

I took the kids to go see santa this week and I couldnt believe how excited they were. This is really the first year that Brinley knows what is going on and she thought Santa was the neatest thing ever. It is really fun having the kids at their ages to celebrate the Christmas season.

New Pet?

So a few weeks ago me and Karson were coming home from church and there was this kitten that was in our front yard. She was very skiddish but Karson kept trying to pet her. He finally did and she really warmed up to hime fast. I got Karson in the house and told him to leave the cat alone. Several hours later we heard a meowing sound and that kitten was still sitting outside our front door. It had started to snow and we didnt know what to do about this kitten. We put a little bed out for it and it slept there all night. We didnt want to feed it because we really did not want it to stick around. We already have a cat and one is just great for us right now. It stuck around for the next couple of days and then the temp started to get really low so we let her sleep in the garage and we did end up feeding her. Well lets just say that now we kind of have a second cat. We now bring her in at night to sleep and then she is outside all day long. We kind of hope she wonders off and doesnt come back but what do you do. She is really sweet and loves the kids and they love her. We have named her Abby and we will just have to see what becomes of her.

Halloween

I took Karson and his cousins Rylie and Ryder trick or treating. I left Brinley with Grandma so we could go a little faster and also I think we were all starting to come down with colds. I had a lot of fun taking them around. Last year we were at a Halloween party and Jasons sister took Karson Trick or Treating in her neighboorhood and the year before that Brinley was only a week old so we didnt take him at all and the year before that it was freezing and when I got off work I took Karson to just a couple houses next to us. So this was the first big trick or treat for him. Ryder got tired near the end and wanted to take a nap. It all reminded me of being a kid. I love Halloween.

Birthday Babies

Both of my babies have their Birthday just 1 day apart so I dont know if that is a good thing or not but I have decided for now it is just easier to just celebrate both of their birthdays for 2 days together. On Brinleys birthday we got them both balloons and had the little cakes for them and Karson got to celebrate his brithday at school. They both got to open their presents at Grandma Rhees's house. On Karsons birthday we went to Brigham City and they both got to open their presents from Grandma and Grandpa Wight and got to make a birthday cake for them.

The Colorado Trip

Me my mom, Karson and Brinley took a trip over to Colorado Springs Colorado. We went to see my sister in law Rebecca. It is her husband (my brother) who is in Iraq right now. We went over to keep her company for a few days. We did some really fun stuff. We went to a pumkim patch, made cupcakes (which was Karsons favorite part), painted pumpkins, went to the park and played in the back yard. They also had so many fun toys to play with that my kids thought they were in a toy store. It was just so fun for us 3 girls and the kids to hang out. I also got to talk to my brother Randall over in Iraq on Skype. That was really cool. They have 2 kids Kate and Ian. Karson and Kate played so good together. They are 3 years apart so I was suprised at how well they played together. Ian and Brinely kind of did their own thing. In a year they will probably get along great.

Colorado Flight

On our trip to Colorado we got to fly on a plane. It was Karsons and Brinleys first time flying. Karson was so excited. He thought it was the coolest thing ever. He made sure he was on the window seat and looked out the window most of the time. I was also suprised how good Brinley did. I was so nervous about having her on my lap and having to stay there. Luckily the flight was not too long. I think if it was any longer we would have been in trouble. The one thing that drove me crazy was that you can have a child on your lap and not pay for a ticket up until the child is 2. Well this trip was this past weekend and Brinley turns 2 tomorrow. We got the worse looks and little snide comments from the airline workers who thought we were pulling a fast one on them. It was really anoying when people think you are lying. If I would have known I would have brought her birth certificate. I would have liked to prove them wrong. All in all it was a great trip and the kids did great on the plane.
