Christmas afternoon at the Rhees's

We always go over to my parents house on Christmas afternoon. It was great this year because everyone was there this year.


This is all of the grand kids. Ryan has 5 kids and the rest of us have 2. 13 total.

Here is Karson and Benson playing video games. There is nothing else that Karson would rather do then to play video games. Especially with an older cousin.

Here is Brinley and her cousin Kate. She lives in Colorado Springs so they dont get to see each other much. Kate is such a doll. Any time I would walk out of the room she would always ask, Where is Karrie.

Christmas morning

Karson was so excited for Christmas morning to finally be here. It was wierd because we actually had to go and wake him up at 7:45 to start the present opening. He loved every minute of it and actually ended up opening all of our presents for us since he loved it so much and we all didnt care. We were alone this year. Jasons parents were going to come down and be with us on Christmas eve and Christmas morning but due to the bad weather they decided not to. It was kind of wierd with just our little family but I really had a great time. It was a great Christmas.

Wight Christmas party

We have a big Christmas party every year up at Jasons parents house. Jasons sister Diana cooked us Cafe Rio food and it was delecious. The kids have a blast playing together. They all get to open one present. Then the adults do a white elephant gift. It was a lot of fun.

Pre Christmas

The kids were getting so excited for Christmas to come. Karson couldnt wait to get out and play in the snow when we got a lot of it. Of course he didnt last that long.

Thanksgiving

This year for Thanksgiving we went up to Brigham City to Grandma and Grandpa Wights. It was really fun. There was Jasons brother Chris and his family that were there.

Halloween

This year for halloween we went up to a family party up to Jasons sister Diana's house. Jason was a Super Trooper, I was half angel half devil, Karson was a Jedi and Brinley was a little Ladybug.

Karson & Brinleys Birthday

Brinley and Karsons Birthdays are just 1 day apart so we had a birthday party for Karson and it happened to be on Brinleys birthday so we celebrated both of their birthdays at the same time. We had the party at Kangaroo Zoo and Karson had his friend Wil and his two cousins Jackson and Rylie come. They had a blast. They ran around that place for an hour and a half and were all sweating and exhausted. Then we went into their party room and had pizza and opened presents and had cake. All 4 grandparents were there also. Last year for Karsons Birthday I was in the hospital because I had just had Brinley the day before so I felt really bad that Karsons birthday was celebrated in the hospital. So this year I decided to do something a little bit bigger. He loved it.

Family Pictures

We just got our family pictures done last week. They turned out really good. I was just going to get Brinleys 1 year pictures done and then decided that since we didnt have any family pictures with Brinley in them and it has been 2 years since we have done family pictures that we would do both at the same time. So there are extra ones of Brinley since they are her 1 year pictures. We got our pictures done by http://www.lindseymangum.blogspot.com/. She has only been doing pictures for a little bit so I was really excited on how good the pictures turned out.

Jason and I had not had our picture taken since we had our engagement pictures taken so it was about time we have a picture of just the two of us.

Peach Days

If you havent heard of Peach Days, well it is probably the biggest event in Northern Utah. Everyone comes from all around and it is quite the event. It is up in Brigham City. First there is the parade that we go to every year. It is a pretty good parade. It cracks me up how many fire trucks and tractors there are and this year there was even a UTA bus. After the parade then we go back to Grandpa and Grandma Wights and we eat lunch and then we go down to the Carnival. There are a lot of fun rides that Karson loves. Karson absolutely loves peach days. He talkes about it for months.

Ok this was really cool. Since Karson got his face painted like spiderman I asked Jason to try to win him the big spiderman. Jason came thru like a champ and won Karson the spiderman. It is as big as Karson is.

At peach days one of the funnest things we did was Karsons face being painted. This shows the step by step process. Karson was so good to just sit there. All of the other kids that we passed were so jealous and they all wanted to get theirs painted like his. When we stood in line for the rides all the other kids just stared at him. Karson thought he was pretty cool.
