The two hottest men

I just found this picture when I was going thru some old files. These are the two hottest men in my eyes. Isn't it great!!

(David Beckam and my husband in case you didnt know)

Memorial Day

For memorial day we went up to Brigham City to spend it with Jasons family. Jasons mom has had a really hard recovery from a knee surgery so his two sisters did so much work to make it so we could all get together and not put any burden on Jasons mom. They did a great job. It was a lot of fun. Brinley spent hours just playing with water in a cup and a bowl. She was so entertained. I also got to go to the cemetary where all 4 of my grandparents are buried and put flowers on their graves. It meant a lot to me. This picture was taken yesterday by Jasons sister Cindy. She is an amazing photographer.

Busy May

We had a very busy and very exciting May. All of my family came in town so we all got to hang out quite a bit. It was so fun to see every body. It is good to have the cousins play with each other. Rhett and Camie live in Baltimore and Randall and Rebecca live in Colorado Springs so we only get to see them about twice a year. My brother Randall is going to be going to Iraq next month so it was especially great to see him. We got family pictures with all of us and we just hung out. It was a great week. The kids had a blast playing with everyone.

Karson had his Preschool program. I was amazed at how good they all did. I guess I wasnt really expecting much and I was really blown away at what these little 5 year olds could do.

Karson had his last soccer game. There wasnt much talent there but they all had a lot of fun. Karson just loved to play with the other kids. For the season he had 2 goals for his team and 2 goals for other teams. They just kick it where ever they are and dont really pay attention to where it is going. Thats ok, just as long as they have fun.

Karson had his last day of preschool yesterday. I couldnt believe how emotional I was. I saw one of the teachers start to cry and that just turned on my waterworks. I cant believe that he is going to be going into Kintergarten in a few months. My baby boy is getting so big.

Weekend at Grandmas

This weekend we went to Grandma and Grandpa Wight's house. The kids have so much fun up there. It is especially fun when there is good weather. They have this great backyard on a half a acre and there is so many things to do out on the open space of grass. The kids get worn out as well as Grandma and Grandpa.

Karson loves to ride in the jeep. This was Brinleys first ride. She loved it. I couldnt get her out of it. She just sat there after Karson got out for about 20 min. I got her out twice and she cried to get back in. She is getting so big.

This was also Brinleys first experience in playing in the sand. She just loved it and didnt mind at all if she was getting dirty. Karson has always been much more worried about getting dirty.

They played for a long time with bubbles. Karson blows them and Brinley chases them all over. It is so fun to see the two of them playing together. I think Karson is finally glad to have a little sibling.

Pathetic cat

Our cat is so pathetic. Everytime Brinley goes into her high chair for any meal Max is right there on the corner waiting to get a piece of what ever she is eating. She does hand him a piece every now and then. It just cracks me up every time he does it. Other than that he does not want her near him but during her meals she is his best friend. Pathetic!

Easter

This was Easter morning. This was the first year I did an Easter egg hunt. I dont know why I didnt do one in the past. I guess I thought that Karson was too young. I also took him on Saturday to the local city hunt. It was fun but there were so many people there. Luckily Karson got a few eggs. The kids are not that into candy. Brinley is more than Karson, so they got a toy instead of the big chocolate bunny and such. There was a little candy because there just has to be. I threw almost all of it away a couple days later. They were both really happy. Brinley is really into smarties. Thanks to my friend Merilee who started giving them to her in church to make her happy, so she got a lot of smarties in her basket.

Soccer Season

Here is my little goalie. As you can see to the left, they scored on him. He did block 2 shots so good job Karson.

I am so excited that Soccer season is here. This is Karsons first year playing. This was his first game that he ever played. It was so fun to watch him. He really wasnt quite sure what was going on but he had a blast. He was so excited all week for his first game that he almost couldnt stand it. I think they ended up losing but thats ok. It is all about them having fun. His coach is so great with the kids. They had a practice yesterday and did cute little drills. I am excited about this stage in his life with him getting involved in team activities. I think they can learn great lessons.

Look a like

Brinley is our little Timmy from Shaun the sheep. If you have never seen it you are missing out. It is on the Disney Channel and it is only a 5 min show. It is really funny. Our whole family really enjoys it. There are no words. Just some very cleaver sheep who are lead by the ever so talented Shaun. Timmy is the little baby who is just so cute. He reminds me of Brinley.

I finally have a full blown walker

I am so excited that Brinley is finally walking. She has been attempting to walk for a few weeks now but she finally has it down. She still falls quite a bit but she is such a trooper and just gets right back up. She use to take a few steps and fall and then just crawl to her destination. I am not a germ freak or anyting but I like her on two feet so much better than crawling. It was just so gross to have those little hands all over the floor (especially strange floors). People always said to me how lucky I was that she wasnt walking yet but my take on it is that once they crawl they are mobile and can move around fast any ways so why not have them upright. I cant believe she is getting so old and big. I guess she is almost 17 months so it is about time.
