Peach Days

If you havent heard of Peach Days, well it is probably the biggest event in Northern Utah. Everyone comes from all around and it is quite the event. It is up in Brigham City. First there is the parade that we go to every year. It is a pretty good parade. It cracks me up how many fire trucks and tractors there are and this year there was even a UTA bus. After the parade then we go back to Grandpa and Grandma Wights and we eat lunch and then we go down to the Carnival. There are a lot of fun rides that Karson loves. Karson absolutely loves peach days. He talkes about it for months.

Me and Karson at the parade. Grandma and Grandpa are next to us.

Our cute little family in the back yard.

Ok this was really cool. Since Karson got his face painted like spiderman I asked Jason to try to win him the big spiderman. Jason came thru like a champ and won Karson the spiderman. It is as big as Karson is.

Creation of Spiderman

At peach days one of the funnest things we did was Karsons face being painted. This shows the step by step process. Karson was so good to just sit there. All of the other kids that we passed were so jealous and they all wanted to get theirs painted like his. When we stood in line for the rides all the other kids just stared at him. Karson thought he was pretty cool.

Rhett's visit

My brother Rhett came and visited from Baltimore with his wife Camie and two adorable little boys Gunner and Preston. We only get to see them a couple times a year so I love it when they come. Brinley and Preston are only 6 weeks apart. Brinley is the older of the two but she still isnt crawling and Preston is crawling all over the place.

Preston and Brinley at Brick Oven. They both are really good eaters and they were waiting patiently for their food to be served.

Backyard swimming

The kids love to play in grandma and grandpa Rhees backyard. We blow up the little swimming pool and they are entertained for hours. Karson loves to play with his cousin Rylie so we always have her come over and join in the fun.

Karsons first day of preschool

I cant believe that my little boy is old enough to go to preschool. It is so exciting. He was so excited to go. He loves to be around other kids and do projects so he will do just fine. (If he just doesnt talk everyones ear off)

Hogle Zoo

A few weeks ago we went to the zoo with my best friend Nicole and her little boy Janzen. It was so much fun. Karson had been to the zoo when he was about 2 but he didnt remember it. He thought it was the coolest place. Nicole has a season pass so we will have to go again.

Petting zoo with the Kikuchis

My long time friend Robyn came into town from Las Vegas and we took our kids on a trip to Thanksgiving Point to the petting zoo. It was fun to get our kids together since they dont get to see each other very much.

4th of July in Brigham

This year for the 4th we went up to Brigham City to spend the day with the Wight group. They all go golfing in the morning and since we have Brinley and Karson it really makes it hard for us to join in on things like that so we arrived up there after they got back. It was a lot of fun. Karson got to play with his cousin (I guess she is really his second cousin) Mason. They love playing together. She is Jasons sister Vickies grandaughter. Also there was Jasons niece Mackinzie that we havent seen for almost 5 years and she has a little girl Ellie that is Karsons age so they got to play together too. Jasons sister Dianna brought "Rock Band" so they could jam. Jason, Dianna and Jasons brother Chris were really getting into it. They had a blast. Dianna rocked it hard. She was awsome. Then to end the night off we watched the fireworks that were really good. It was a fun time. Karson and Mason

I will put a picture of them rocking out to "Rock Band" as soon as I get it sent to me from Grandpa Doug.
